CAUTION
Home

Because of the dangers inherent with jump starting a car battery, we highly recommend using jumper cables specifically designed to help eliminate the possibility of an explosion.

CAUTION:
Lead acid batteries generate explosive hydrogen gases. Keep sparks, flames, and lighted cigarettes away from the area.

Cables should only be connected to batteries with the same voltage ratings. That is... both batteries should either be 6-volt or 12 volt batteries. If for any reason acid contacts eyes, skin, or clothing, FLUSH immediately with large amounts of water. In case of eye contact, see a physician immediately.

Note: If the battery is cracked or appears to be leaking fluids... it's time for a new battery. Be careful as the fluid coming out of the vehicles battery can cause damage to you and or your car/truck.

With Safe-T-Plug Booster cables the FINAL CONNECTION is made AWAY from batteries, and possible DANGER!
